BANKERS: CLASSIC WINES TO KNOW

Join us for one of our most useful tastings of the year — a guided introduction to some of the classic wines that come up again and again in blind tasting.

These are the wines and styles you are likely to encounter on restaurant lists, shop shelves and in competitions, making this session a great way to build a strong foundation for future tastings.

We will guide you through the key features that help distinguish each wine, including aromas and flavours, acidity, alcohol, body, sweetness, tannin and oak. The aim is not simply to taste the wines, but to start recognising the patterns that make classic styles identifiable blind.

This session is suitable for complete beginners as well as returning tasters who want to strengthen their fundamentals. No prior knowledge is required.
