Annual Dinner

The Committee of the Cambridge University Blind Wine Tasting Society cordially invites you to join us for our Annual Dinner, held in the Senior Combination Room at St Catharine’s College!

The dinner will consist of a 3-course meal, accompanied by over 30 different wines spanning a vast range of countries, styles, and flavours! Each wine will have a QR code attached, which you can scan to try and guess its place of origin on a map – in other words, a wine-based GeoGuessr. We are very excited to find out who ends up at the top of the leaderboard and goes home with the prize!

Dress-code: Black tie (or formal evening wear)

£95 for Cambridge students & Alumni
£105 for non-Cambridge guests

Menu

Starter: Crab, Salad with avocado mayonnaise, dill marinated cucumber, shellfish dressing and baby cress

Main: Pan fried duck breast with roasted peach with rosemary, Anna potato, Tenderstem broccoli, roasted squash and red wine sauce

Dessert: Strawberry semifreddo with meringue, compressed strawberries and baby mint

Main: Summer squash and vegetable pithivier with sautéed summer greens, garlic roasted plum tomato, basil and sunflower seed pesto

Dessert: Strawberry semifreddo with meringue, compressed strawberries and baby mint
