Gems from the East with Henrique Marçon

Join us for a casual exploration of wines from under-appreciated regions. Wine is made all over the World and it is fascinating to see how different styles arise from growing the grapes in different soils, at different altitudes, and using different winemaking techniques. You will be presented with a range of native, as well as international varieties to discover what each place (and market demand) has to offer.

You will taste 12 wines (6 whites and 6 reds), including examples from Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

We ask that you please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before the session begins so that we can begin pouring immediately.

Please bring your own set of 6 ISO tasting glasses. Glasses are available to buy here.

Refund policy: Please note that, as of 2025, we are no longer issuing refunds. This decision was made in an effort to reduce our operating costs and the administrative burden on our committee of student-volunteers.
