A Deep Dive into Bordeaux with Aditi Kulkarni

Join us for a very special session as we explore one of the most famous wine regions: Bordeaux!

Led by Aditi Kulkarni — member of the CUBWTS and the Left Bank Bordeaux Cup team — this session will guide you through everything to know about the rich culture of this special region, from the grape varieties and terroir to the dramatic variation between vintages.

You’ll taste 12 wines (9 reds and 3 sweet wines), including top-tier Grands Crus Classés from the 1855 classification, alongside hard-to-find bottles and outstanding hidden gems that are drinking beautifully.

This is a rare opportunity to taste wines of this calibre side by side.

Reflecting the higher underlying pricing of the wonderful wines that we serve, the price is £33 – still an excellent deal for the wines on offer. If you’ve ever wanted to truly understand Bordeaux — or simply enjoy some remarkable wines in great company — this is your evening.

We ask that you please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before the session begins so that we can begin pouring immediately. 

Please bring your own set of 6 glasses. ISO tasting glasses are available to buy here .

Refund policy: Please note that, as of 2025, we are no longer issuing refunds. This decision was made in an effort to reduce our operating costs and the administrative burden on our committee of student-volunteers.
