Session 14: Forgotten France
March 1, 2026
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Ramsay Hall, Magdalene College
Forgotten France
Everyone knows Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Champagne. This tasting will explore some of the less well-known grapes and regions of France. From the Jura to Corsica, Roussanne to Tannat, this tasting will élargir vos horizons and allow you to discover forgotten France.
We are delighted that Steve Hovington, the founder and principal wine educator of the Cambridge Wine Academy, will be leading this session. Steve has a WSET Diploma and has taught thousands of WSET students. He has extensive experience in the wine industry, including making his own wine in 2007 and working for several UK wine merchants, but his passion lies in wine education, which inspired him to found the Cambridge Wine Academy in 2014. He is an entertaining and engaging presenter!
We ask that you please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before the session begins so that we can begin pouring immediately.
Please bring your own set of 6 glasses. ISO tasting glasses are available to buy here.
